GP workshops: Managing Home Hospital services

Sign up for a GP workshop and learn more about Home Hospital and how you and your patients can benefit from our acute and sub-acute in-home nursing care services.

Discover how to refer and manage patients within Silver Chain’s Home Hospital service, and learn how you can retain clinical governance.

The workshop will cover:

• The safe in-home management of conditions ranging from cellulitis and DVT to hyperemesis gravidarum
• Case studies to highlight communication and referral methods
• Clinical governance and home-based investigations
• The range of nursing and ‘home help’ services that are available, all enabling your patient to stay at home during an acute illness

The next workshop will be held:

Home Hospital will pay attending GP's $880 (Inc. GST) to help facilitate your attendance and learning.

Confirmation that you have been added to the waitlist will be acknowledged by return email. Final confirmation of attendees will occur in the second week of June.
